The Fire Brigade Employees Union (FBEU) has effectively represented the interests of professional firefighters in NSW, both permanent and retained, since 1910.
Over the years, we’ve advocated for improved training, protective clothing, safer working conditions and equipment for all our NSW professional firefighters. Because the FBEU also actively lobbies for improved fire services, we not only protect and improve the job of professional firefighters, we also help protect communities in NSW.
